4 tablespoons | Brown Sugar 黄糖 |
100g | Sago 西米 |
180g | Water 水 |
3 | Pandan Levaes班兰叶 |
4 tablespoons | Grated Coconut 椰丝 |
1/2 teaspoon | Salt 盐 |
Method 做法
1. Rinse and drain sago.
2. Bring water to boil. Add brown sugar and pandan leaves (knotted) into water. Boil the mixture until the sugar melts completely. Add coconut milk and sago. Stir well. Turn off heat.
3. Pour mixture into steaming tray, steam over medium heat for 15 minutes. Remove and set aside to cool. Cut into bite size.
4. Mix grated coconut and salt. Steam over medium heat for 5 minutes.
5. Coat the sago cubes with grated coconut. Serve.
