Prawns Fry with Basil Leaves in Chinese BBQ Sauce 九层塔沙茶酱虾

Ingredients 用料


12 Medium Size Prawns 中虾
1 stalkRed Chilli 红辣椒
5 slicesGinger 姜片
A bunchSweet Basil Leaves 九层塔
1 tablespoonChinese Wine 花雕酒
1 tablespoonSoya Sauce 酱清
1 tablespoonChinese BBQ Sauce 沙茶醬
5 clovesGarlic 蒜蓉
1 tablespoonCooking Oil 油
1/2 cupWater 清水

Method 做法
1. Wash prawns with shells. Trim off the sharp edges,
2. Heat oil in wok. Fry garlic till turns brown. Add prawns to fry. When the prawns are almost cooked (orange-red in colour), add chilli, ginger, basil leaves, Chinese wine, soya sauce and Chinese BBQ sauce. Fry till fragrant. Add water slowly and fry. Serve when cooked.
