Ingredients 用料
200g | Stew Beef (cut into 1 inch pieces) 炖牛肉 |
4 slices | Ginger 姜片 |
1 | Onion (cut into quarters) 洋葱 |
1 | Tomato (cut into quarters) 番茄 |
1 tablespoon | Oyster Sauce 蚝油 |
1 tablespoon | Dark Soya Sauce 黑酱油 |
4 cloves | Garlic 蒜 |
1 | Carrot (cut into cubes) 红萝卜 |
2 pieces | Star Anise 八角 |
1 stick | Cinnamon 肉桂 |
1.5 cups | Water 水 |
1 tablespoon | Corn Flour (for thickening) 玉米粉 (勾芡) |
A pinch | Salt 盐 |
A little | Pepper 胡椒粉 |
Method 做法
1. Heat a tablespoon of oil in wok, stir fry ginger and garlic till fragrant. Add beef cubes and stir fry till half cooked.
2. Mix corn flour in water. Add remaining ingredients into wok. Bring to boil. Add corn flour mixture to thicken the sauce.
3. Transfer to casserole.
4. Preheat oven at 180 degrees Celsius. Bake prawns for 90 minutes, or until meat is tender. Serve.
