300g | Self Raising flour 面粉 |
1 | Purple Sweet Potato 番薯 |
60ml | Milk 鲜奶 |
1 tablespoon | Brown Sugar |
2 | Eggs 鸡蛋 |
2 teaspoons | Yeast 发酵粉 |
Method 做法
1. Wash and de-skin sweet potato. Cut into slices. Steam for 15 minutes or until soft.
2. Add sweet potato, eggs, milk, brown sugar, and yeast into a blender. Blend the mixture till smooth.
3. Sieve plain flour into a big bowl. Add mixture slowly into the bowl and mix well. Knead the mixture into a dough.
4. Cover the dough with a wet cloth and put in a warm place for 30 minutes, or until the dough double in size.
5. Knead the dough again, cut and shape into bun size. Cover the doughs again for 30 minutes for the 2nd rise.
6. Steam the buns for 15 minutes. Ensure that the buns are covered with a wet cloth to prevent water droplets on landing on the buns. Serve.
