Belgian Waffles (2)

Ingredients 用料


120gPlain Flour 面粉
1-1/2 tablespoonsSugar 糖
120gButter (Melted) 牛油
1/2 cupMilk 鲜奶
1 tablespoonYogurt 酸奶
2Large Eggs 鸡蛋
1 teaspoonBaking Powder 发粉
SomeCooking Oil 油


Method 做法
1. Separate egg yolk and egg white into 2 mixing bowl.
2. Beat the egg white until semi-fluffy. Add sugar. Continue to beat until the egg white are foamy.
3. In the egg yolk bowl. add milk, melted butter and yogurt. Mix well. Sift plain flour and baking powder into the bowl. Mix well until no lumps. Add mixture into beaten egg white mixing bowl. Stir in a single direction till the mixture are well blended.
4. Heat up the waffle maker. Pour mixture, close the lid and cook for 4 minutes (or until brown depending on the waffle maker). Serve with butter or syrup.

Note: 
You will need a waffle maker.

Raise the bowl with a metal stand. Add the plate of scallops onto stand. Steam over high heat for 10 minutes. (Optional) Garnish with Chinese parsley and spring onions. Serve.

Honey Glazed Pork (Char Siew) - from basics 蜜汁叉烧

4人份 Ingredients 用料 250g Pork Fillet 五花肉 1 Large Onion 洋葱 5 slices Ginger 姜 4 cloves  Garlic (minced) 蒜末 1 tablespoon Dark Soya Sauce 黑酱油 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil 麻油 2 tablespoons Honey 蜂蜜 2 tablespoons Sugar 白糖 2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce 蚝油 2 tablespoons Chinese Cooking Wine 绍兴酒 1 teaspoon Salt 盐 1 teaspoon Pepper 胡椒粉 Method 做法 1. Marinate pork with all the ingredients overnight. 2. Heat oven at 200 degrees Celsius. Bake for 15 minutes. Turn the meat, and glaze meat with remaining sauce. Bake for another 15 minutes. Serve. Japanese Bake Eggplant 日式烤茄子

3人份 Ingredients 用料 4 pieces Egg Plant 茄子 2 tablespoons Miso Paste 味增 1 tablespoon Mirin 味醂 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil 麻油 1 teaspoon Sugar 糖 Method 做法 1. Wash egg plants. Cut into halves. Place on a baking tray. 2. Mix miso paste, mirin, sesame oil and sugar in a bowl. Spread sauce over egg plants. 3. Pre-heat oven at 180 degrees Celsius. Bake egg plants for 20 minutes. Serve.
