Ingredients 用料
10 pieces | Medium Prawn 中虾 |
1 bunch | Garlic Sprout (cut to 1 inch long) 蒜苔 |
6 cloves | Garlic (minced) 蒜蓉 |
1/2 tablespoon | Sugar 白糖 |
1/2 tablespoon | Salt 盐 |
150 ml | Water 水 |
Method 做法
1. Remove shells and veins from prawns, marinate with half tablespoon of sea salt for 15 minutes.
2. Heat oil in wok. Fry garlic in medium heat till golden brown. Add garlic sprout to fry. Add water to simmer for a minute. Add prawns to fry. When the prawns turn from gray to white/red, they are almost cooked. Add salt, sugar and fry. Serve.
Optional
Boil the prawn shells in 300ml of water for 10 minutes. Simmer for another 10 minutes. In place of plain water, use this prawn broth to add seafood taste to the gravy.
